Steve Distler has been a self-employed, licensed insurance producer for over twenty-five years, and his North Shore agency serves over twenty-five hundred households, businesses and farms in Illinois. He helps policyholders make smart decisions by managing the risks of everyday life, recovering from unexpected losses and realizing their goals for retirement or the succession plans for their businesses. His experience is not just limited to property & casualty insurance. They have a full array of life insurance and financial services products as well.

He is a resident of Chicago's north shore with his wife of thirty years and their two children. In his personal time, he is a singer, songwriter musician and an avid outdoorsman. In 2015 he co-founded the not-for-profit organization Making Life Better which promotes volunteerism and contributes substantial financial support to local food pantries, community programs including Boys Hope-Girls Hope of Chicago.
